For those of you who aren't on the AAC Bark List - this was posted to the list:

I would like to Congratulate all the the Teams from the Morning Star Team Challenge summer events. Despite the rain on the morning of the last day of eventing everyone held in there and had a great day. We had 10 Teams participating with Students from multiple Dog Training Schools in Kingston, Morning Star Students, Agility Connection Students, Luv-A-K9 Students, Kingston Agility Students and many others - everyone was super supportive. Thanks to all the Volunteers and the great Team Spirit all around.

AWARDS:

It was a very very close race for some very popular people for the Sportsmanship Awards - so we were sure to acknowledge them all.

Best Dressed Awards: Team - Pink Panters

Best Dressed Award: Person - Glen Robbins

Very Very Special Thanks to Val Archibald for her countless contributions to make these events happen - It wouldn't have happened without you.

Special Thanks to Jennifer Laird of the Agility Connection who created our Computer Scoring and handled all the computer scoring needs for the summer.

To our Judges : Christine Mandy - Agility Connection, and Gwen Howard - Luv-A-K9 - who helped me judge throughout the summer - Thanks for setting a fine example for all of our students to follow - Great Support - Great Friendship - I am truly grateful.

Thank you to everyone for the wonderful contributions to the POT LUCK at the end of the day. There was so much help from so many that I can't list you all but you know you all were part of making Morning Star Dog Academy's first series of Summer Events at our new competition fields a great success ! We look forward to next year!
